The contracts will remain in force from October 1st 2015 to September 30th 2016. The contracts’ total value is estimated at PLN 164m. 

“Natural gas is the key feedstock in the production of nitrogen fertilizers. At the Puławy plant, we use approximately 1bcm of natural gas per year. Thanks to the ongoing liberalisation of the natural gas market, we take all opportunities to ensure that the Company is supplied with that strategic feedstock in the most efficient way. Our new gas suppliers have been selected through a tender procedure,” said Marian Rybak, President of the Grupa Azoty Puławy Management Board. 

Meeting at least 50% of the Company’s total demand, PGNiG S.A. remains the key supplier of natural gas to Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe Puławy S.A.
