Grupa Azoty has been co-operataing with the Polish Ski Federation for three years now. Aside from the agreement with the Polish Ski Federation, Grupa Azoty is an individual sponsor of the ski jumpers – Piotr Żyła, Jakub Wolny, Aleksander Zniszczoł and the cross-country runner, Sylwia Jaśkowiec.

Each victory is not only the sportsman’s individual achievement but also a motivation for thousands of people to follow the footsteps of the champion in the future,” says Witold Szczypiński, Vice-President of Grupa Azoty.   

Grupa Azoty, the Title Sponsor and Main Partner of National Cross-Country Development Programme (Narodowy Program Rozwoju Biegów Narciarskich) ‘Bieg na Igrzyska’, actively participates in the development of Polish ski sports  and searching for  youths who have a ski talent. The new agreement with the Polish Ski Federation places greater emphasis on these aspects of co-operation.

Personally, I derive a great deal of satisfaction from the fact that Grupa Azoty so eagerly supports young sportsmen who, in the future, will be the source of unforgettable emotions for millions of Poles,” emphasizes Apoloniusz Tajner, President of the Polish Ski Federation.

As part of the agreement, Grupa Azoty will be also the partner of the Summer Grand Prix of Ski Jumping and Świąteczny Turniej Skoków Narciarskich – two tournaments, which often are the first serious tests for young ski jumpers. 

Adam Korol, Minister of Sport and Tourism, took part in the ceremony of signing the agreement. Minister was very satisfied with the fact of signing the agreement and commitment of the sponsors to the development of Polish sport.

Grupa Azoty involves not only in the ski sports. Companies belonging to the Grupa Azoty Group support among others: volleyball teams ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and Chemik Police, handball players from Azoty Puławy, Unia Tarnów Speedway, football players from Pogoń Szczecin, basketball players from AZS Koszalin and Robert Kubica.
